Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 1575th

Smith vs. Spann
Anthony Smith, SUB, R3
Vegas odds not bad on this one, but Tapology votes should be closer here imo. I think Spann can definitely win this fight. But if he doesn't do it in the first 2 rounds, it's over... he'll get subbed or KO'ed

Cutelaba vs. Clark
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
If Clark makes it out of the first round, he'll get the win, but that's a big if.

Böhm vs. Lipski
Mandy Böhm, DEC
As beautiful as she is, I can't pick Lipski. I lost confidence in her after she could lose to Montana de la Rosa. No offense to Montana, but like damn haha you can't lose that one

Nchukwi vs. Rodriguez
Mike Rodriguez, DEC
First of all, love the move up to Light Heavy for Nchukwi cause the guy's ******* huge. But, he's a lower volume power puncher who's not the most technical striker. I think Slow Mike will be too tall and long and can point fight his was to a decision while at range.

Jackson vs. Buys
Montel Jackson, TKO, R2
JP isn't bad, but he didn't even look all that good at 125. Now he's moving up!? He's gonna be significantly undersized. You can't give up 8.5" reach advantage to a sniper like Montel! JP's getting knocked tf out

Kasanganay vs. Harris
Carlston Harris, DEC
Tough one! I like Impa, but I don't know why the votes are over 2 to 1 in his favor. This fight is close, and Carlston Harris looked good in his last fight! The issue is Impa is a slow starter, so if Harris can capitalize in the first 2 rounds, I think he takes a decision.

Few thing I notice from the weigh in photos Card posted

Ion Cutelaba look skinnier so he be less dangerous but last longer, I like that honestly
I'm surprise Arroyo is like a foot taller and a weight class bigger. Tempted to swap my pick to Arroyo, but Arroyo is terrible
Montel Jackson is a division bigger than JP Buy, Great Matchmaker UFC. Couldn't give Montel an easier opponent unless you put me in there with him, I could cut to 135lb.
I'm shocked Hannah Goldy is the same size as Whitmire, Might swap my pick with that Information. Alway thought Goldy was a midget
Mike Rodriguez and Tafon are the same size, I thought Tafon going up a division,That be good for Tafon
Maness look a division bigger, And Gravly cardio is suspect. Not as confident in Gravly wresle******* him

Tafon is not the same size as mike lol.....but he's wayyy more built. Think he will get a ko. He was 205/hw for most his career anyway, I think it'll help his gas tank going back up

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 495 Points   |   Tied for 1804th

Smith vs. Spann
Anthony Smith, SUB, R2
Don't think I'll ever be sold on Spann. Lionheart is running through the smaller fish in the division right now and I can see him stopping Spann inside 10 minutes.

Cutelaba vs. Clark
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
Cutelaba gets the early finish here. If the fight leaves the first round, Clark should be able to grind him out. I don't trust Clark's chin.

Böhm vs. Lipski
Mandy Böhm, DEC
I like Böhm here as the slight underdog. Lipski's UFC run has been pretty depressing and Böhm arrives to the organisation with a decent amount of hype.

Giagos vs. Tsarukyan
Arman Tsarukyan, TKO, R3
Late finish for Tsarukyan - probably on the ground - once Giagos does his usual routine of gassing after 5-6 minutes of pressure.

Maness vs. Gravely
Nate Maness, SUB, R2
Gravely's susceptible to getting his neck snatched and Maness has a solid submission game.

Buckley vs. Arroyo
Antônio Arroyo, TKO, R1
I think Arroyo range and kicking game should be enough to send Buckley down to welterweight.

Nchukwi vs. Rodriguez
Mike Rodriguez, DEC
Predicting a fairly boring one with tonnes of inactivity and gassing here.

Kianzad vs. Pennington
Pannie Kianzad, DEC
WAR PANNIE! Pennington probably wins via holding Pannie against the cage but, if Pannie can establish good defence, she should be able to piece Pennington up.

Rong vs. Jenkins
Zhu Rong, DEC
Short notice for Jenkins. Zhu Rong wins a comfortable 30-27.

Jackson vs. Buys
Montel Jackson, DEC
Matchmaking for JP Buys' career has sucked pretty damn hard. Back-to-back losses pending.

Blanchfield vs. Alpar
Erin Blanchfield, DEC
Blanchfield wins comfortably.

Kasanganay vs. Harris
Carlston Harris, DEC
A nice, technical bout at 170. Harris wins a competitive decision.

Lopez vs. Alateng
Gustavo Lopez, SUB, R2
I reckon Lopez finally breaks into the win column here. Has a nasty guillotine game and I think Alateng's panic-wrestling may lead him to danger.

Whitmire vs. Goldy
Emily Whitmire, DEC
A fight.

Böhm vs. Lipski
Mandy Böhm, DEC
I think Bohm should be a slight favorite. I think she walks through Lipski.

Maness vs. Gravely
Nate Maness, DEC
Maness can get taken down but -220 is a bit heavy.

Buckley vs. Arroyo
Antônio Arroyo, TKO, R1
Joaquin could definitely find that chin but with Arroyo's size and reach advantage, he'll come out blasting kicks and I think he finishes Buckley. Odds are off.

Nchukwi vs. Rodriguez
Tafon Nchukwi, TKO, R1
Mike's just got a weak mental man... I think he gets finished

Rong vs. Jenkins
Brandon Jenkins, DEC
Jenkins could win this lol odds are a bit heavy.

Kasanganay vs. Harris
Impa Kasanganay, TKO, R1
Harris is more experienced, I believe he should be a slight favorite.

Böhm vs. Lipski
Mandy Böhm, DEC
Bohm's ability to mix it up will win her this fight, she's very good at keeping the fight at her range but she can also tie you up in the clinch and knee you and elbow you whilst also going for takedowns. Lipski is a very good striker but she's very vulnerable for the takedowns and if you can pose a takedown threat she struggles to close the distance and fight her game. I think Bohm can get some takedowns here and there whilst controlling the range on the feet, I think we're gonna get a clean performance from Bohm

Cutelaba vs. Clark
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
If Ion can't get the finish early then he'll probably lose, which is the case with him. I do think he will win, I just think he's a bit better on the feet than Clark, more explosive and his wrestling is better too. Clark's path to victory is to just survive early and then grind on Ion as the fight goes, however I do see Ion getting the finish in this one, should be a good fight

Smith vs. Spann
Anthony Smith, TKO, R3
Quite confident in Smith here, Spann is very hittable so he is quite chinny so I think Smith is gonna be able to land on him very easily. Smith is so much faster than Spann, his jab will land and from there he can land follow up strikes. Spann may be slower but he holds a ton of power, he can KO a lot of people in this division including Smith but I think Smith's footwork improvements and his speed is gonna win this comfortably for him. The damage will add up and I see Smith getting a TKO

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 12 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 690 Points   |   Tied for 70th

Smith vs. Spann
Anthony Smith, DEC
i feel like smith "should" be able to finish, but that he'll fight more conservative to ensure a victory and avoid big counters. not counting spann out, just skeptical after a sd with alvey.

Cutelaba vs. Clark
Ion Cutelaba, DEC
gonna be interesting how composed clark can stay in r1. could certainly wrestle out a win if he times his entries, but i'm gonna side with the idea that ion is gonna be pushing him back the whole time. feels dumb but i'm going decision!

Böhm vs. Lipski
Ariane Lipski, DEC
why is this on the main card? just because lipski's hot? because this is more like an early prelim beginning matchup. i'm gonna take her though because i have little faith in who bohm has been beating.

Giagos vs. Tsarukyan
Arman Tsarukyan, DEC
arman certainly looks to be a future contender, but i feel like the betting lines are also way off at -800 because he's likely gonna take it to the scorecards instead of finish in r1. giagos has been surprisingly effective.

Maness vs. Gravely
Nate Maness, SUB, R2
the win over munoz jr is looking mighty good in retrospect, i'll say maness continues to defy expectations and is able to wrestle gravely down. maybe even catch a choke?

Buckley vs. Arroyo
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
gonna be a test to see if buckley can keep himself standing i think, and i'll say he does, but no finish because arroyo hasn't been ko'd prior?

Nchukwi vs. Rodriguez
Tafon Nchukwi, TKO, R2
tafon seems like a solid pick, but i'll go further and say he catches slow in some close range boxing.

Kianzad vs. Pennington
Raquel Pennington, DEC
i'm just gonna go with pennington and hope to be wrong because pannie is a far more interesting fighter. guess i just feel like raquel's toughguy style is tough to break unless you have real firepower.

Rong vs. Jenkins
Zhu Rong, DEC
would take zhu by ko here, but wondering how the weight miss will affect him, so instead i'll take decision because that seems to be how jenkins has lost 5/7 fights.

Jackson vs. Buys
Montel Jackson, TKO, R2
totally get why montel is the favorite, but i think the odds are a little wide here. could turn into a competitive grappling match.

Blanchfield vs. Alpar
Erin Blanchfield, SUB, R2
blanchfield is gonna slowly develop into a contender and i think the ufc knows what they have so they're bringing her up gradually.

Kasanganay vs. Harris
Carlston Harris, SUB, R2
guess i feel some hype behind harris, thinking impa will oblige him wherever he wants to fight.

Lopez vs. Alateng
Heili Alateng, DEC
gonna side with alateng because lopez has only won a single decision while losing 3 and heili has half his victories via scorecards.

Whitmire vs. Goldy
Emily Whitmire, DEC
whitmire is underwhelming and i feel like almost anyone should beat her considering she's a wrestler that has all of her losses by sub and her striking is nothing to write home about. however, goldy has been losing to other girls that may not belong either and she has 0 submission wins. i'll say emily finds her way inside and grinds.

Some very intriguing fights especially now after weigh ins. Cutelaba is like - I will put some salt and pepper on you,but Clark did not really seem any intimidated about it. Fun fight and I think Cutelaba will take his head off.
Smith is like a real lionheart - wait till we engage and I'll show you how lion hunts for his prey.
So many great fights here. Can't wait for it!!!
I don't know why something tells me ,first fight might end with KO from Goldy. Anyhow she wins it.

Hopefully we get some entertaining fights and  I land a couple bets
